Message: This was on a weekday mid day I had to go in for my stomach pain that ended up being Diverticulitis. Check in was swift, was taken into one of the many rooms they had, nurse was very polite and empathetic, doctor was funny, charming, empathetic as well throughout the whole process. They explained what could be and what they will perform, and checked in with me often. This was my very first emergency room visit, and I was very happy with the visit and the result.

Message: After two separate recent visits, I proceeded to the radiology department after a quick check-in and was able to complete my scheduled appointment without any wait time and quick and efficient care. All staff were very welcoming and friendly.

Message: I received EXCELLENT service at Jefferson Memorial Hospital for outpatient surgery. From the front desk, nurses, doctor & anesthesiologist. The world has changed since COVID, there are staff shortages everywhere. We must learn patience all over again. If you don’t understand something a doctor/nurse says then ask. If you’re in pain & waiting, ask for pain meds.

Message: All of my doctors (except my derm) is through WVU Medicine. In all the moves I have done, and many doctors seen, I have never had such great care from such a kind staff. When I have to go get labs done, the staff is nothing but amazing and helpful (even with my hard to find veins). I am so happy with my doctors and all the staff we have met between myself and my husbands medical needs. Moving to such a small town, I was worried about my care, but I have been nothing but surprised and happy with everyone I have encountered.. I went to get a glucose test and labs done today, registration is nothing short of awesome and helpful to not only patients, but to each other to make sure they are learning correctly. I am always happy with the care I receive when getting blood draws and I love the staff and how comfortable they are with (what appears to be) a healthy work environment.. Whatever you are doing to keep your staff happy, please continue to do so, and please listen to them should they have concerns about the quality of care should something change. I cannot stress enough with how happy I am with my medical care and hope it continues with the Jefferson Medical Center - WVU Medicine.

Message: A lot of complaints about ER visits. We've been twice and were seen immediately. Obviously, triage dictates level of care and how fast you're attended too.. My daughter had an appendectomy at Jefferson Medical Center and my son had his appendix removed at Loudoun.. Hands down, Jefferson was the better experience! The staff was INCREDIBLE! We really appreciate them constantly checking in on us. We were apprehensive because they did not have a pediatric surgeon on staff, however, we were assured that our daughter would be taken care. And they delivered. Again, our experience at Loudoun was just ok.. You mainly hear nothing but complaints when it comes to medical care, however, I've worked in multiple hospitals and understand the hard work these individuals go thru and the staff deserve to hear the good as well! So thank you from our family. We would highly recommend this facility.

Message: I don't understand all the negative comments. We have the flu, and my husband was taken by ambulance to the ER, and I can't say anything but good regarding his care in the ambulance, and then care he received in the ER. I am an RN, so I know what to look for. His nurse was wonderful and attentive, and then Nurse Practitioner who saw him was thorough, kind, and pdofessional. As an ICU RN, I know what labs, etc., need to be done, and they did them all. The X-ray Technician was also great. Health. Are professionals are under a horrible amount of stress. Be kind.
